The notification pulldown bar received a big visual overhaul in Android 5.0 Lollipop. As you see above, the left is Lollipop an the right is Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Everything is slightly changed, floating over the homescreen, and very interactive. Users will see animations and effects while tapping notifications as a part of a more interactive and lively approach with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

One swipe pulls down the notification bar, a second swipe gets additional info and the quick settings toggles shown in our next slide.
