The App tray or drawer has also been changed. Rather than be a transparent window that takes over the entire screen, with 5.0 it's a popup that's fullscreen and all white. Everything is bigger and more bold, icons are larger and full of color. Some like it, some don't, but it's all the same to me. I just need to easily find the apps I want to open

The scrolling effects are pages in Android 5.0 Lollipop as you flip through drawer pages, while in Android 4.4 there was an effect where each page slide under or over the previous one. We like the old animation better, but to each his own.
