Apple Cyber Monday 2012 deals aren’t as deep as those on Black Friday, but there are still Cyber Monday discounts on the iPad, iPod touch and MacBooks.
Cyber Monday is a day of online deals that takes place the Monday after Thanksgiving, when a large number of shoppers go online to buy products at deep discounts.
There are no official Apple Store Cyber Monday deals from Apple, but there are still many iPad Cyber Monday deals and a few deals on the iPod touch and iPod nano for Cyber Monday.
Updated with new iPad Deal at $319
Apple Store Cyber Monday Deals
After a decent round of Black Friday deals, the Apple Store is sitting out on Cyber Monday, but there are still a number of deals to be found in the refurbished section that beat out the Cyber Monday deals at other retailers.
- iPod touch 4th Gen 8GB – $129 ($50 off)
- iPad 3rd Gen with Retina Display – $379
- MacBook Air 11-inch Intel Core i5 – $849 ($150 off)
- MacBook Air 13-inch Intel Core i5 – $1,019 ($180 off)
Apple also offers $180 off the 13-inch MacBook Pro current generation, and $270 off the 15-inch MacBook Pro current generation. These deals include a full one year warranty and contain no cosmetic damage, so they are easy to give as a gift.
Missing in action is the $319 iPad 2 which is an on-and-off deal in Apple Store refurbished section. These deals are all online only.
iPad Cyber Monday Deals
There are a few iPad Cyber Monday 2012 deals available to shoppers, but discounts aren’t as deep as on Black Friday. Most of these deals are on the iPad 4th generation with Retina Display.
MacMall offers the iPad 4th generation for $484, a savings of $15 with free shipping. This is a small discount, but the iPad is not often discounted, and may not drop in price through the rest of the holiday shopping season.
The iPad 3rd generation with Retina Display is available at MacMall for $429, a savings of $69 off the normal retail price when Apple sold the 3rd gen model
Best Buy isn’t cutting the price of the iPad, but it is running a Cyber Monday iPad deal that offers $25 towards a future purchase with in-store pickup. Purchase the iPad 2 or iPad 4th gen online on Cyber Monday for in-store pickup and receive a $25 coupon on your next purchase.
Apple Offers the iPad 2 WiFI 16Gb for $319 refurbished direct from Apple with a one-year warranty.
iPod Cyber Monday Deals
Savvy shoppers can score up to $40 in savings on the iPod touch at Best Buy when ordered online during Cyber Monday.
Best Buy is discounting the iPod Touch 5th generation to $284 today, and offering a $25 coupon good on a future order when the iPod touch is picked up in-store. With this option the total cost of the iPod touch is $260, almost as good as Black Friday, and likely the best deal we’ll see between now and Christmas. Shoppers have 7 days to go in to a local Best Buy to pick the iPod touch up.
Best Buy also offers $10 off the new iPod Nano and $5 of the iPod Shuffle, but neither is expensive enough to qualify for the $25 in-store savings on their own.
MacMall offers the iPod touch for $284 with free shipping, but offers no further discounts on the iPod.
iTunes Gift Card Cyber Monday Deals
Cyber Monday is a great time to score deals on iTunes Gift cards to use or give as gifts this holiday season. Best Buy is the location for the best iTunes Gift card deals, which could be a way to bump an iPod Nano purchase over $250 to score in store savings of $25 and handle stocking stuffers at the same time.
Best Buy’s Cyber Monday iTunes gift Card deals offer 15% off the face value and they offer email delivery and physical cards.
- $15 iTunes Gift Card for $12.75
- $25 iTunes Gift Card for $21.25
- $30 iTunes Gift Card for $25.50
- $50 iTunes Gift Card for $42.50
- $100 iTunes Gift Card for $85.00
These gift cards are good for apps, books, movies and in-app purchases.
MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Cyber Monday Deals
Best Buy and MacMall both offer MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Cyber Monday deals, even offering up to $100 off the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
MacMall offers the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display for $1,598, a $100 discount with free shipping. MacMall also offers $60 off the MacBook Air 11.6, dropping the price to $939 and cuts $549 off the 17-inch MacBook Pro.
Best Buy offers $85 off the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and $50 off the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Both of these can combine with the $25 off coupon code to up the savings. Best Buy carries multiple models for users looking for more storage.
The 11.6-inch MacBook Air is $899 at Best Buy on Cyber Monday, $100 off the retail price and combines with the in-store pickup deal for an additional $25 in savings.
Shoppers that missed out on Cyber Monday deals can still score some of the best deals of the shopping season without waiting in lines or dealing with limited quantities. Be sure to check out Amazon’s Kindle Fire Cyber Monday deal.
