Joins us for a look at five important details buyers need to know about the Xbox One Black Friday 2014 deals. Although Bundles are traditionally a bad word when buying a new console, these offer a lot of value to the consumer.

Xbox One Black Friday Bundles

There are two main Xbox One Black Friday bundles, but these aren’t the only Xbox One Black Friday deals out there.

First up is the Xbox One with Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. You can find this console for $329 at Walmart, Target and Best Buy.

Walmart also offers a Xbox One Halo Bundle with the Xbox One and Halo: The Master Chief Collection for $329. If you buy this at Walmart as part of the guaranteed in stock items on Thanksgiving day you also get a $30 gift card, knocking the effective price down to $299.

If you shop online at Walmart on Thursday you can buy the Xbox One with your choice of one game and a 12-month Xbox Live card for $379.

Xbox One Black Friday Savings

The $329 Xbox One bundles offer a lot of savings, even before you count the savings on games. That’s $20 off the price you’d pay today, and $70 off the price for the Xbox One without Kinect that retailers charged up until November 2nd when Microsoft announced a $50 holiday price drop.

You also score $59.99 in savings on Assassin’s Creed Unity and about $30 in savings for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Depending how you slice it you’re saving roughly $20 over buying it at any store today. Overall the savings from what this would have cost last month is $160, but not a lot over avoiding Black Friday hassles.

Target Black Friday 2014 ad - Xbox One Deal

You can find many Xbox One Black Friday bundles.

The major deal is the Walmart Xbox One Halo bundle which is guaranteed in stock for an hour, or if they run out you can buy it and get it by Christmas.

This is $299 after you factor in the gift card. That’s $50 off the current price of the Xbox One, and $100 off last month’s price. You also save $59.99 thanks to the included copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Total savings from buying it today are $110 and from buying it last month $160.

For the other pick your own game bundle, you are paying $379 for something that is currently valued at $350 + $59.99 + $49.99 (Xbox Live on Amazon) or roughly $460. That’s $100 in savings and you can choose the game you want instead of going for pre-determined bundles, but the Halo option is still the biggest overall value in savings compared to buying today and buying on Black Friday.

So far the Black Friday 2014 ads show three main locations to buy the Xbox One Black Friday bundles. We may see Amazon and Toys R Us join in the coming weeks. Here are the stores where Xbox One Black Friday 2014 deals are confirmed.

In store these deals start at 5 PM and 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day. You can buy some of these deals online, but not the Walmart Xbox One Halo bundle.

Xbox One Trade in Deals

So far there are no confirmed Xbox One trade-in deals for Black Friday. Best Buy currently offers $150 for select PS3 and Xbox 360 models that drops the current price of the Xbox One Assassin’s creed bundle to $200. If you need to unload one of these systems, this is better than waiting or Black Friday, as this is an inflated trade value.

If any store will offer a Xbox One trade-in bonus on Black Friday it could be GameStop. We’re still waiting to see the GameStop Black Friday 2014 ad.
