This discussion surfaces every now and then, and it is back again. Are you addicted to technology? Are you a gadget junkie? Does using your mobile device cause a release of dopamine to your brain’s nucleus accumbens and make you happy? This article explores that once again. Look for a 12–step program to be follow up in a month or so. But seriously, some are worried that our addiction to gadgets and being always online (texting, email, etc…) are hampering our interpersonal communication. While I can see the danger, (heck there’s a danger of becoming addicted to anything that brings you pleasure), I’m not sure if mobile technology inhibts or enhances communication in the greater sense.
