Auxo 2 is one of the most anticipated iOS 7 Cydia tweaks of 2014, bringing a multitasker replacement to iOS 7 jailbreak users. The new Auxo 2 app combines multitasking and the control center and adds several new features including a quick switcher and hotpoints for fast access to what you need while using iOS 7.
Auxo 2 is a paid Cydia tweak that is well worth the $1.99 price for upgrades and the $3.99 price for new users, and it is easy to install and use even for novice iOS 7 jailbreak users that have not installed a multitasking replacement before.
The Auxo 2 Cydia tweak also shows the icons that are part of any iOS 7 themes that you are using, keeping the look of your iPhone or iPod complete even with the new multitasking and Control Center replacement.
We’ve shared many of our favorite iOS 7 Cydia tweaks, including a collection of great paid and free tweaks. Auxo is as good as these and is one of the best paid iOS 7 Cydia tweaks available. Users can find Auxo 2 for iOS 7 in the Cydia app store on a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch in the default repository.
Auxo 2 Review & Features
Watch this three-minute Auxo 2 review to see the new features in action and see why we think it is an iOS 7 Cydia tweak worth paying for.
Multitasking and Control Center
When you install Auxo 2 it replaces the Control Center with a new combined multitasking and control center look that allows users to access their quick settings and change apps on one screen. The screenshots below show what this looks like.
Users can go into the settings to add or remove some parts for a more minimal look if they want it. The default view offers access to brightness, Control Center toggles and shortcuts as well as multitasking. Users can tap on an app or drag it down to open it as the current app. Swipe up to close an app. Users can swipe up on the home screen card to close all apps with a second tap. If you are listening to music it will not close that app.
The Auxo 2 Quick Switcher is an easy way to quickly switch between the six most recent apps. Swipe up form the lower left corner and keep your finger near the bottom of the screen to see the recently used apps and switch to them without opening a full multitasking menu. This is a nice, easy way to quickly jump between apps.
With Auxo 2 installed users can swipe up on either of the bottom corners to access the Quick Switcher feature or to return to the home screen without hitting the home button.
Swipe up from the left for the Quick Switcher and swipe up form the right to go to the home screen. This is handy for users with finicky home buttons and for an easier touch experience.
Auxo 2 is a great iOS 7 Cydia tweak that is worth the asking price for new users and the upgrade fee for previous Auxo users.
