There are 25 Battleborn characters, or heroes as the game calls them. You will be able to play some of them at the start, while you will need to unlock the rest.

Gearbox will add five more Battleborn heroes after the release. Each of the Battleborn heroes has a personality, power and a different playstyle that will help influence which one you choose to play with.
