If you didn't know, the clock app icon on your home screen actually shows you the real time and if you look closely, you can even see the second hand move in real time, which is pretty cool. However, it's a feature that isn't really needed and is mostly likely using up resources and wasting battery.

NoLiveClock is a simple tweak that disables the clock app icon animation and instead will just update the time whenever you close out of an app and go back to the home screen.

Again, while it may not significantly increase performance, it at least disables a feature that using up resources that really don't need to be used up.
