Best iPad Air 2 Keyboard Cases

Logitech is arguably one of the best accessory makers on the planet, and that's mostly thanks to their Ultrathin keyboard case series.

The Ultrathin is available for the iPad Air 2, and it features a chiclet-style keyboard that's great for typing on. It's also one of the thinnest keyboard cases out there, measuring in at only 6.4mm thick.

The case also features a hinge that allows you to angle your iPad Air 2 at any angle within a certain range, meaning you don't have to put up with only two or three pre-determined angles like you see on most keyboard cases.

The keyboard also features a magnetic binding that allows you to use the keyboard case as a screen cover when you're not using your iPad, with the magnetic edge keeping it in place as you carry it around in your bag.

As for battery life, Logitech says that if you use the Ultrathin for an average of about two hours per day, you should be able to go two years without having to recharge it, which is incredibly impressive for a keyboard case. However, we're guessing that some users will use it more than that, which means your mileage will vary, but even if you use it for 4 hours per day, that's still a full year of battery life.

The Logitech Ultrathin for the iPad Air 2 is available for $60 on Amazon.

I have an iPad 2 and I love the keyboard case I have so much that I wouldn’t want an iPad Air 2 until an equivalent case is available. The keyboard case I have is from New Trent and it cost way less than $50. The equivalent one for the iPad Air (previous version) is called the Airbender Air. What I like about it is that it is lightweight, it has a great keyboard, and that it easily switches between landscape and portrait display (something I have not seen in any other comparable keyboard case). I’m hoping New Trent will be coming out with their Airbender Air 2 (for iPad Air 2) really soon…

I’d prefer waiting for the iPad Air Pro with built in keyboard!
