I fell in love with the Glif a few years ago when I had an iPhone 4s. Back then, the Glif was a simple chuck of rubber that you could attach to a tripod and just let your iPhone sit right on top without worrying about it falling off. It also doubled as an iPhone stand.

Today, while the Glif retains much of the same simplicity that made it great, it has gone through some upgrades. Most notably, it's now more universal than ever, and it can be used with just about any smartphone. Plus, it can still double as a smartphone stand.

The newer Glif is a bit more expensive than other tripod mounts, priced at $30, but it's a great product to have if you need a good tripod mount.
