Our first two suggestions were quite pricey, so this time we want to highlight a cheap option, one that also manages to be my favorite case out of about 4 I've bought for the Nexus 5. The Diztronic Matte Black TPU case is the best I've found. The power and volume buttons are precision cut, there's full cut-outs for the speaker grill, and it's slightly thicker than Google's option. Usually I like thin, but being slightly thicker it protects the camera lens from scratches, and the front curves around the sides to protect the display even if face-down on a table. Lastly, the Diztronic matte black design doesn't gather fingerprints, and the 3.5mm headphone jack is square -- not round -- so it fits nearly any size headphone cord with ease.
