BluebeampdfrevueMy favorite PDF tool, BlueBeam PDF Revu, just released an update to version 6.5. It looks like the big update has to do with PDF form filling according to the release notes below.

  • PDF form filling –PDF files containing form fields can be filled-in using Bluebeam PDF Revu v 6.5. Revu will allow users to fill-in text fields, buttons, check boxes, list and combo boxes, pushbuttons and radio buttons.
  • Batch stamping –PDF stamps have become a popular feature. Now, users can apply stamps to a whole batch of PDFs without opening them one by one. Batch stamping includes the option of stamping particular pages in a PDF or all pages. This amounts to huge time savings.
  • Page De-skewing – Rotation was added to the Page Setup dialog to correct PDF pages that are skewed. Correct the skewed page by selecting the rotation angle or by automatically aligning the contents of the PDF file to a straight line.

If you already have a license for version six you can download 6.5 at this link. Those who haven’t upgarded to version 6 yet can also get a free upgrade by mailing their serial number to [email protected]. Of course new licenses can be obtained as well and there is a 30 day free trial.
