Black Ops 3 DLC 3 Size & Pre-Load Details
Users who buy the Black Ops 3 DLC 3 map pack or who bought the Black Ops 3 Season Pass can find Descent on the PSN store and start downloading the maps now. This is an important step considering the size of this update.
The Black Ops 3 DLC 3 map pack is 7.6GB on the PS4. Unlike updates, where the size stacks on top of an older download, this is a huge file you need to download and install.
We recommend starting the Black Ops 3 DLC 3 pre-load as soon as you can so that it is on your PS4 when you want to play. In the past, we’ve seen some issues pre-loading for Season Pass holders in other countries.
The PC and Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC 3 size will likely be 6 to 8 GB given the size of the PS4 update. It’s not clear if there is a pre-load option for the Xbox One or PC yet.

We continue to see a lot of colorful environments, but Rift delivered a more deadly looking place to play.

The Black Ops 3 DLC 3 Zombies map will include the same characters as the last two in a brand new location.
Activision teases, “After escaping the swamps of Zetsubou No Shima, the Origins characters are hurled into a war-torn Stalingrad. Our heroes face their most dangerous enemies yet among the remnants of a battle between giant mechanized soldiers and ferocious dragons.”
We may also see a new Ray gun in the game and it is a good chance that you will control the dragons and fight Russian mechs.

Even though the DLC 3 is not coming a part of an update as far as we know, there are still Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 updates right before each of the DLC releases to set the stage for the new maps.

The first July Black Ops 3 update arrived on Monday July 11th adding in support for a new game mode called Fracture, and delivering a variety of changes to multiplayer and zombies fixes. A second July Black Ops 3 1.14 update arrived on July 27th and 28th with many weapons changes.
