Clash of Clans 2016 Update: 7 Things to Expect

Loot Cart

The biggest change that most are excited about, is the "Loot Cart" that will be added to every village. Once the January (hopefully not Feb) 2016 update arrives we'll all have a new Loot Cart to protect.

The Loot Cart is essentially a reward for having a strong defense, as players will get money back after being attacked. Attackers raiding a base won't get less, but the defender won't feel the pain quite as much. Basically after someone steals all your loot, there's a little insurance that helps ease the pain.

"After your village has been attacked, a percentage of the stolen resources will be added to a Loot Cart in your Village. Once you collect the resources from the Loot Cart, these will be transferred to your Treasury for safeguarding."

We're not sure if the Loot Cart can be stolen from during attacks, but we're guessing yes, so users will want to clear it to the Treasury often for safeguarding. It will also likely have a limit on how much it holds. What's the Treasury? We'll explain that next.

So if an attacker steals 300k from a village, the loot cart will get a percentage back (we're hearing 25%) in the loot cart. This will essentially automatically inject more money into the economy, growing the available loot with each and every attack. Meaning the economy and low loot situation will be fixed. Slowly but surely more and more money will be floating around, and after a month or so, we could be seeing huge loot amounts to steal while attacking. I like the sound of that.

Players will make more, lose less in the end, and have more money to steal and use on upgrades.
