Clash of Clans 2016 Update: 7 Things to Expect

New "Treasury"

The Clan Castle will remain, but it will also be called the Treasury, we think. Housed in the Clan Castle will be a new element called the "Treasury", and it will be the safest place to store resources like Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir. All War loot bonuses, the new Star Bonus and even the Loot Cart will go to the Treasury.

This will all automatically be stored in the Clan Castle Treasury as before, but only a very small percentage will be lost if players are attacked. We can expect the storage limit to increase, and users can still tap the Clan Castle and collect the loot whenever they need to.

Basically the daily Star Bonus and Loot Cart needs to go somewhere, not just our regular collectors that get raided daily. So the Treasury will hold it, and less will be stolen if it gets destroyed. Basically a vault of sorts, for a small percentage of money. Most likely between 1-2 million of each, and some Dark Elixir.
