Clash of Clans is one of the most popular mobile games on the planet, and has been for over three years. However, recently the developers released a similar game with many of the same aspects called Clash Royale. It’s a completely different real-time strategy game and loaded with unique features. Below are five awesome Clash Royale features we want in Clash of Clans.
When Clash Royale was announced in January with a similar overall look and feel as Clash of Clans, but with a completely different gaming style, many were excited. In March the global and Android release date arrived, and it quickly jumped to the top of the download charts. It’s one of the best and most addicting games as of late, and Clash of Clans could learn a thing or two from it.
Supercell is one of the best developers when it comes to continuously updating their games with more features and additional content, and we know more is coming. Another big Clash of Clans update is rumored for March or April with new troops, Clan War changes and more, but we’re hoping a few Clash Royale features will appear in Clash of Clans.
Clash of Clans hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to updates lately. A huge December update changed the entire game, January updates had to fix those problems, and complaints still arrive daily. Above we detailed a few changes and features we want next, and we’re not alone when we say many of the features from Clash Royale would be a welcomed addition in Clash of Clans.
One being a tower defense and village building game, and the other being a real-time strategy and card-collecting title means they can’t be too similar. Each has a slightly different target audience, even if many users play both like myself.
At the end of the day though, Clash of Clans is starting to slow down, users can only upgrade so much, and most upgrades take a long 14 days to complete. Not to mention weeks of saving Gold or Elixir to even start. And while we don’t expect drastic measures to change the entire game, or want them, the Clash of Clans developers could learn from Clash Royale to improve Clash of Clans.
Of course many of these changes would need to be tweaked to match Clash of Clans, but all of ideas detailed below would greatly improve the hit game. With that said, here are five or so awesome Clash Royale features or options we want in Clash of Clans.
