CompUSA Closing – Don’t Head Out Just Yet

The word is out – CompUSA is being bought by the same liquidators that bought and closed down half their stores last year, and the other half are closing down now, too.

The big deals are not happening yet, though, so don’t make a mad rush out to your local CompUSA. I went to my local CompUSA just a few minutes ago, and they do not expect the liquidation pricing to start before Monday; however, Monday looked like a good possibility. Expect the pricing to hit all parts of CompUSA, including the Apple store.

Too bad they don’t stock Tablet PCs, otherwise, it would be great place to pick up a steal. Last time I checked, they were stocking the Sony UX series, though.
