According to DigTimes, HTC is launching an Android 2.3 Tablet in March, called The Flyer. This is the first of three Tablets HTC is supposedly working on for release in the first half of 2011. The other two are loosely expected in June. The Flyer, according to the reports looks like a larger version of the HTC Desire.
The Android 2.3 Tablet will supposedly be upgradeable to Honeycomb when it roles around. The DigiTimes report is focusing on timing here saying HTC wants to get out of the gate before RIM and its Playbook and Motorola and its Xoom Tablet, expected in March and April respectively. We’ll have to play wait and see (gee, that’s familiar) to see if this is more than speculation.
