Early FIFA 15 Release Date & Details Confirmed

The FIFA 15 release date is set for September 23rd, but if you own an Xbox One and EA Access you can play FIFA 15 early for up to six hours.

We know that EA planned an early FIFA 15 release for Xbox One owners, and now the company is sharing the rest of the details so that gamers can prepare to play FIFA 15 and get an edge on the competition.

This is a full version of FIFA 15 with all the new features and modes that you will get when you buy the game on September 23rd, and any progress you make carries over to the full version.

One added bonus is that you won’t need to install the game when you buy it, since you do all that five days before the FIFA 15 release.

Hopefully EA can avoid the problems the prevented many EA Access members from playing Madden 15 right away when the game arrived early.

The early FIFA 15 release date is on September 18th, five days before the FIFA 15 release for everyone. EA did not confirm the early FIFA 15 release time, but if they are consistent expect to download the FIFA 15 trial at 9AM Pacific, 12PM Eastern.

The download will take some time, as it is the full game, so you’re probably looking at a one to three-hour FIFA 15 download before you can play.

In order to take part in the early FIFA 15 release you need an EA Access membership. This is $5 a month or $30 a year and includes more than just a FIFA 15 trial. If you sign up now you can pay $5 for the month and get an early NHL 15 release and FIFA 15 for the same membership.

You also get 10% off digital versions of these games, so you can save $5.99 on a digital FIFA 15 download and on other purchases like NHL 15 and Ultimate Team packs on other EA Sports games. That’s not all the EA Access membership includes.

You can play the early FIFA 15 release for six hours.

You can play old games in The Vault. This includes Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden 25, Peggle 2 and soon Need for Speed Rivals. These are the full games and they will stay in The Vault so you can keep playing them. If you trade in FIFA 14 you can still play it using this access.

There is one big catch to the early FIFA 15 release that you need to remember. This is a trial and even though it is the full game you can only play it for six hours. After that time is up you will no longer be able to play FIFA 15 until the full release on September 23rd at 12:01 Pacific. EA Access will roll out to more countries later this month, but it’s not clear if it is in time for the FIFA 15 trial.

The EA Access subscription auto-renews and you cannot pay for it with Xbox Live credit. You can read, Is Ea Access Worth Buying? to get a better idea o the value that the service offers.

If you choose to buy the digital version of FIFA 15 and get the 10% discount you will not likely be able to buy the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team edition, but Microsoft may include some type of bonus packs in the digital FIFA 15 release.

We still expect a FIFA 15 demo release later this month, but EA did not share any details at this time. Unlike a trial, a FIFA 15 demo would not offer full access to the entire game, but it would also not be limited to the Xbox One or to EA Access subscribers.

6 hours is a joke. The old Season ticket pass let you play it for an unlimited time for 5 days prior to its release. If this had been made more clear I wouldn’t have bought access
