Fallout 4 1.6.9 Update: What’s New

Support for Vault-Tec Workshop

The 1.5.4 update delivered support for the Contraptions Workshop DLC (it came with achievements/trophies) and the 1.6 update brings support for Bethesda's "Upcoming Add-ons".

It's not specific but the support is for the upcoming Vault-Tec Workshop DLC, the next add-on that's due for release on July 26th. This is the update that prepares the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for its arrival. 

The Fallout 4 1.6.9 update also brings Vault-Tec achievements/trophies ahead of its release. They include Oversight, Better Living Underground, and Vault Dweller. More on those here.

Vault-Tec Workshop is the fifth piece of DLC for Fallout 4 and it comes just a few weeks after the arrival of Contraptions Workshop and a few weeks before Bethesda's Nuka World DLC. 

We expect another Fallout 4 update to prepare the PC, Xbox One and PS4 for Nuka World in August.
