Fallout 4 Windows 10 Problems

Bethesda's 1.02 patch squashed some of the game's most annoying bugs but Fallout 4 problems continue to plague gamers on all three platforms.

The developer's forum is full of complaints but we want to point out one problem in particular that's plaguing Fallout 4 gamers using Microsoft's Windows 10.

A new update to the OS is reportedly causing performance issues on Windows 10 powered rigs. This issue appears to be fairly widespread and extremely frustrating for those that've come across it during gameplay. Fortunately, it appears that there are a few workarounds to help navigate Windows 10 users around the problems.

A user on Reddit has posted a lengthy step-by-step process that's helped some people eliminate these performance problems. If you don't want to revert, you'll want to take a look at this other guide posted by another Reddit user.

For more fixes for Fallout 4 problems on PC, Xbox One or PC, take a look at our growing list of fixes for common issues. We're still not sure when Bethesda will announce or roll out a 1.03 patch so for now, you're on your own.
