How to Wait in Fallout 4

In Bethesda's older games (Skyrim, Fallout 3) you could wait for several hours. This was handy if you had to meet someone at a specific time or if you wanted to avoid the night. You can still wait in Fallout 4 but it works a little bit different. 

You can't hit a button to wait. In order to advance time, you need to sit in a chair or lay down in a bed. As an added bonus, if you rest long enough, you'll get an experience bonus that will expire after a limited amount of time.
