Fallout 4 Mods Are Free
A lot of people are peeved about Bethesda's plans for Fallout 4 DLC and the Fallout 4 Season Pass.
To recap, last week Bethesda announced its first three DLC add-ons and their individual price points. The company also confirmed plans to release more Fallout 4 DLC later in the year. In doing so, the company also announced a Season Pass price jump.
Starting March 1st, the Season Pass will bump to $60 to reflect the addition of the new, and unknown, DLC content. If you buy it before that, you'll get everything for $30 making it a very tempting offer for Fallout 4 fans.
I can see why people are frustrated but it's important to remember that you're going to gain access to a ton of extra content, for free, in the months/years ahead.
Fallout 4 mods will be free. On PC, on Xbox One, on PS4. Bethesda won't charge you anything to download and install them on your system of choice.
For many of you, free Fallout 4 mods will be more than enough. If they're not, well then you have the option to buy the Fallout 4 DLC individually or all at once via the Season Pass. Either way, you're going to have access to new features and items.
Say what you will about Bethesda but the company has created a game that's easily worth the price of admission. ($60 or less now.) The free mods make sure of that.
