New Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition Stock Details Arrive

New Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition stock details have emerged today as we close in on Bethesda’s Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition giveaway and the Fallout 4 release date.

In June, Bethesda confirmed a number of important Fallout 4 details including the key gameplay details, the Fallout 4 release date, and a special edition version of the game called Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition. Like the regular version of the game, the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition went on sale in June. Unlike the regular version, the Pip Boy Edition is hard to find.

Bethesda’s $120 Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition has been extremely hard to find since its debut in June. U.S. retailers sold out almost immediately and Bethesda confirmed that it would not be supplying them with any more stock.

Since then, we’ve seen a few crucial Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition stock details emerge and today, we have a few more to share.

Yesterday, Bethesda’s Japanese arm confirmed plans to release Fallout 4 on December 17th. That’s a little more than a month out from the initial Fallout 4 release date for PS4, Xbox One and PC in the United States on November 10th.

The developer also confirmed plans to take orders for the elusive Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition. Of course, it also notes that pre-orders for the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition are going to be extremely limited. That shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the game’s road to release.

This is a new way to buy the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition but it’s not the only way to acquire one ahead of the game’s release date.

We’ve been tracking the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition release and while U.S. carriers probably won’t stock any more copies, stock is still out there.

Amazon Italy and Amazon France continue to feature limited Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition stock on their websites. Amazon France has been particularly active as of late. Those who live in those regions should keep an eye out for stock because we could see Amazon release more in the days ahead.

Amazon in the United States is still completely sold out. And while there have been surprise stock rumors, nothing has materialized leaving Bethesda’s Fallout 4 contest and resellers like eBay as the only options for buyers in the United States.

Bethesda is currently hosting a Road to Fallout 4 contest that features several prizes including Fallout 4 Pip Boy Editions. The company will be giving copies away in October as we push towards the game’s release date and those interested need only to sign up for the company’s newsletter to enter into the contest.

Those who don’t want to leave it to chance will want to keep an eye on resellers. We’ve seen several copies go up for sale ahead of the game’s release date though all of them have come with a premium price tag that extends beyond the $120 price point.

Bethesda has said that it will not be releasing any other official special edition versions of Fallout 4 ahead of the game’s release. It will be the regular version of the game, the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition and the bundles from third party retailers. The Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition won’t be the only version of Fallout 4 that’s hard to find though.

Bethesda has partnered with Loot Crate to offer a special edition bundle that comes with exclusive collectibles and a wearable that will help gamers get through the wasteland. It’s still not clear if it will be a Pip Boy or some other item that ties into the game’s release.

The Fallout 4 Loot Crate still doesn’t have a pre-order date though it’s expected to be released alongside the game on November 10th.

I managed to pre order one. I’m half tempted to never open it and sell it on eBay as brand new.
