On Friday, Sony confirmed the Fallout 4 file size for the United States. And as expected, it falls into that 28GB-35GB range that Bethesda confirmed a few weeks ago.

The initial Fallout 4 game file will be 29.9GB if you live in the U.S. This is actually a little larger than the Xbox One Fallout 4 file size in the United States.

For most of you, a 30GB download won't be a problem. For those of you running out of space, you'll need to plan accordingly. Especially if you want to pre-load the game ahead of its release date.

As for the PS4 Fallout 4 pre-load, we know that it's coming. Bethesda confirmed a PS4 Fallout 4 pre-load a few days ago and the Fallout 4 listing on the PlayStation Store says that it's Pre-Load Supported. Unfortunately, PS4 owners can't pre-load it yet.

Some people are saying it will become available tomorrow, November 8th. It's certainly possible and with a release date set for November 9th in some places, it wouldn't be surprising. So keep your eyes peeled on Sunday.

If you pre-ordered digitally, and you pre-load, you'll be able to start playing at 12:01AM Eastern/9:01PM Pacific.

If you pre-ordered a physical copy or the Pip Boy Edition, you won't be able to start playing until November 10th because there is no pre-load for physical copies.
