Fallout 4 Tips to Level Up Faster
Increase Your Carry Weight
![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You can't carry an unlimited amount of items. Once your inventory is full, you'll be over encumbered. When that happens, you can't run. And if you don't have the right perk, you won't be able to fast travel. If this happens, you'll need to ditch items that you can use for crafting. Increasing your carry weight will allow you to carry more which means you'll be able to craft more and carry more items to help your character stay alive. There are a few ways to do this. You can strap on Power Armor. Power Armor allows you to carry more items. You can use Buffout and Bufftats to increase your Strength attribute. Boosting your strength will temporarily increase your carry weight. You can also invest in the Lone Wanderer perk (it will give you increased capacity) and the Strength attrbitute. Each point will increase your carry weight by 10. Once you get Strength high enough, you can pick up the Strong Back perk. The final level will allow you to fast travel while overencumbered saving you time and materials. You can also use your companion to hold stuff for you so if you do wander around with a companion, make sure you use them. You can milk XP from most items.
