Increase Your Intelligence

When you can, wear gear with intelligence because each point will grant you a bonus. If you don't want to wear it during combat, make sure you strap on INT gear before turning in your quests.

There are numerous examples but one of our favorite's are Liam's Glasses which come from a quest you encounter during your time with the Institute. 

If you find items with more than +1 INT, horde them. Store them in your Workshop for when you think you might need them. Break down or sell duplicates and/or items you don't end up using.
