Inspect Items

You can also get a little bit of experience when you inspect certain items. To do this, highlight them in your Inventory and select inspect. On consoles, this will require a push down on your right joystick.

Some items will give you a bit of experience when you view them. You won't get a ton of experience points but anything counts if you're trying to rank up as quickly as possible.
