FlipBoard Aims to Create Your Own Personal Magazine
For some time now folks have been saying that social networks like Twitter and Facebook are replacing RSS as a way to get news and info. For some that may be true, for others not so much. But for those who like to find their info from what their friends and followers are sharing, Flipboard (iTunes link) opens up a whole new approach.
FlipBoard is a free iPad app that takes your Twitter feed and your Facebook feed and brings what your friends are sharing into a magazine like interface that you can surf and consume. Your fingers do the walking through flipping pages, pictures, and videos and because you are linked into the app via your accounts, you can reply, like, etc… right back to those apps.
For those who value what their friends are reading, sharing, and consuming this looks like an interesting new twist on how to find and consume info.

It i snot accepting new FaceBook or Twitter feeds due to server capacity issues on their end. Great way to drive a CEO of the company crazy in day 1!
