Elliptic Labs in Norway is working on going touchless. Point your finger (or fist apparently) at the screen from as far as five feet away and you can manipulate 3D objects. The technology is supposedly compact enough that it can be used in mobile devices in the future. From the look at the videos it has a ways to go, but they plan on showing this off at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this month.
