Fujitsu N7010 Notebook Integrates TouchScreen Device

Published

on

Touch, touch, touch, touch. Touch is everywhere and it seems like it is heading to just about any surface on your computer. Fujitsu has introduced the N7010 Notebook with an intriguing touchscreen above the keyboard. Fujitsu calls the 4-inch touchscreen the ‘Touch Zone’ and apps can be dragged down to it from the main screen, which is 16 inches by the way. It can also be used as control station of sorts with buttons to control media playback and other apps. The N7010 can be pre-ordered now with shipment scheduled for later this month.

Laptop Magazine has hands on video of how this works, so check it out.

I have a touchscreen display on my desktop/ HTPC case, and quite frankly it is entirely useless. Its one of those things that you think you might use a bunch, but then never actually end up doing.

I can’t imagine this will be any better.
