Gadget Stimulus Plan Day 5: Win an iSoniCast for iPod Wireless Transmitter
We’re trying to close your gadget deficit while the economy’s in the dumps with the Gadget Stimulus Plan. Today we’re giving away a Monster iSoniCast for iPod, which streams music from your iPod to your home audio system wirelessly.
A small dongle plugs into the bottom of your iPod and a base station plugs into your receiver via RCA cables.
I haven’t had the chance to try the iSoniCast yet, but it seems like a nifty little device. It retails for $99.99.
There are two ways to enter to win the iSoniCast.
1) Leave a comment on this article and tell us what of iPod you’d use the iSoniCast with.
2) Leave a comment on this Notebooks.com article and tell us how you most often listen to your digital music collection. Is it through your iPod/Zune/etc? Through your computer’s speakers?
You have until Tuesday, March 24 at 8pm PDT to enter. We’ll assign every entry a number and use Random.org to randomly draw a winner.
This contest is open to anyone in the world, as long as participating in contests like this are legal in your hometown. It’s your responsibility to check local laws and regulations. Those who enter more times than allowed will be disqualified. The winner will be notified by either email (if random comment is chosen) or by an @reply on Twitter (if random tweet is chosen. He/she will have 48 hours to claim the prize and provide shipping info.

I’d use it with my ipod touch. Especially since I’m thinking about spending a whole lot of money on an ilive system, this would be better.

I would use this device with my iPod classic. My music collection is so large that the iPod touch is too small.

well, Whenever I am at home, i use my laptop connected to a 2.1 speaker system to listen to music. this way i can control the music using the wireless remote, or using Software on my TyTn II! :D
On the move, it is with my Zune 30GB, which unfortunately has reached the stage where it is to be upgraded :|

I’d use it with my iPhone. I listen to most of my music on it, either through Seinheisser earbuds or a Bose SoundDock.

I’d use it with my iPhone 3G 16G. I have my ENTIRE music collection, a ton of audiobooks and podcasts on my iPhone. I most often listen to my collection via my computer speakers at this point, but would love to listen to the music via my stereo.

I don’t own an Ipod but I would give it to my mom as she has a 3G Iphone and would probably make good use of it.

I have a classic Ipod and my daughter has an Ipod Touch. We could share this and take turns jamming to our tunes, since we have totally different music styles!

My daughter’s IPOD will never be happier.

I have an 80GB ipod classic. Together with the iSoniCast, I would exorcise my air space with Mingus. Out demons! Out!

This looks like an interesting little device. I have a home theater setup in the basement, and I have a lot of friends that have iPods of some sort, and they frequently plug into the receiver to put some tunes out of the speakers, but then they are usually sitting far away from the receiver and have to get up when they want to change the song. With this little device, we could pass it around and whoever wanted to play music could simply plug it into their pod and DJ from where they are sitting.

Cool giveaway. Currently I work in a home office and I find that I work best with music on. Though everyone else in my family has an Ipod, I’m the holdout. Which one would I get for this puppy? Tough decision… I’ll let the experts in my family help me figure that out.
