Galaxy S6 Active: 5 Things I Learned on the First Day

The first thing you'll notice about the Galaxy S6 Active aside from the design, is the display. The screen is the same absolutely beautiful 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD AMOLED display. It's big enough but not too big, crisp, bright, and just beautiful. Samsung always makes great screens, and this device is no exception.

In the past the Galaxy S4 Active wasn't as good as the regular Galaxy S4, but that isn't the case here. You'll enjoy the same wonderful screen experience.

Another thing that is the same, which was expected, is the camera. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has arguably the best camera of any smartphone ever released. The 16 megapixel camera has optical image stabilization, a fast f1.9 shutter speed, and takes stunning photos.

Being able to add the durable design, bigger battery, water-resistant features and more without sacrificing the camera was a huge achievement, and one that all buyers can appreciate. I took a few photos with the Active yesterday, and it once again reminded me just how great the Galaxy S6 camera is. In fact, unless you're a professional it is more than capable for anyone.
