GETAC To Release Rugged E100

GETAC is adding the ultra-lightweight, but fully rugged Tablet PC to it’s line soon.  The E100 slate style Tablet PC is going to be unveiled at the DistribuTECH 2008 Conference & Exhibition at the Tampa Convention Center.  It looks like it might be available sometime in March of 08 for people to order!  Still don’t see a price…

The E100 is powered by an Intel(R) Stealey 512KB L2 cache processor that operates at 800MHz and offers up to five hours of battery life. The E100 includes 512MB DDRII DRAM upgradeable to 1GB and a 60/80/100GB shock-resistant HDD, all contained in a watertight Fully Rugged magnesium alloy case that is vibration and drop-shock resistant. The E100 includes 802.11b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity as standard features; EV-DO and GPRS/EDGE networks and integrated GPS are available as options.
