Hands On Video with CTL’s 2Go Intel Convertible Classmate PC
Sierra and I got some hands-on time with CTL’s new 2Go Convertible Classmate PC, and shot this hands-on video. They are available now for $549, cheaper when purchased in bulk.
Video after the break.

Nice video. I wish Sierra had swiveled the top and laid it down as a tablet, though. I’d like to see how it looked and felt as a tablet.
I love the swivel camera and the handle.
We need an edition with upgraded everything, recessible handle, wacom capacitive, lower weight, etc. Better yet, team it up with WritSense, by InPlay. Hey, if I’m gonna dream, I might as well go all the way.

XP Pro and XP tablet are different beasts. An upgrade to XP Pro does NOT mean the tablert bits are included. You guys should know better!

good catch, Gordon. That was just a misstatement. We only had 5 or so minutes to do the quick hands-on. We clearly meant something different, but our goal was to clearly point out that the tablet bits were not installed on this xp home machine.

Hey Rob! Thanks for the video, although like Mike Reilly I would have been interested to see the Classmate being handled as a tablet.
Hope GBM will be able to put out a more in-depth hands-on review of the Classmate PC from the perspective of a Tablet PC User (or better yet, a full-blown Inkshow about it). I would be very interested to see how well note-taking has been implemented in this machine.
