Hide the Menu Bar

In past OS X versions, users have been able to hide the dock when it's not in use, and now users can do that with the menu bar in OS X El Capitan.

By navigating to System Preferences > General, simply check the box next to Automatically hide and show the menu bar. This will hide the menu bar just like the dock can do, and whenever you need to access the menu bar, just move your mouse to the top of the screen to activate it.
