How to Customize Moto Voice on the Moto X 2014

Like it or not, we now all live in a world driven by our own voices. Microsoft started the revolution with Kinect for the Xbox 360 and now everything practically has voice functionality. Take the Moto X 2014 for example.

Last year the Moto X became one of the first smartphones to offer always-on voice control. Things like Apple’s Siri and Google Now allowed users to get answers to searches and do basic things with their voice. The Moto X took this a step further. It included a coprocessor that always listened for commands. No button presses were required. The Moto X 2014 takes the foundation established last year with the original Moto X and builds on a layer of customization. For the first time, buyers can create their own catch phrases to use with their device. As long as there are enough syllables to recognize, the Moto X 2014 can take commands across the room or from your cup holder by just listening for phrases like “Mr. Data, Please…” or “Hello Moto X.”

The new 5.2-inch 1080P display looks very nice.
