New DirecTV subscribers can get Sunday Ticket free, but even current DirecTV Subscribers can score a deal. Call DirecTV and ask for a free upgrade for your loyalty and often you’ll get it. You don’t need to be mean or threaten to cancel, just ask nicely.

I use NFL Sunday Ticket Max on DirecTV to watch the Miami Dolphins each week, even when I cannot be at home.

NFL Mobile

The NFL Mobile app is an excellent way to watch the evening NFL games live on iPhone and iPad. This app offers live NFL games on Verizon devices, including Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football.

You’ll need to be a Verizon customer to use this app, and you cannot watch every game like you can with NFL Sunday Ticket, but this will offer access to much of the game.

The best way to watch Sunday Night Football live on iPhone is to use the NBC Sports Live Extra app. This app will stream all Sunday Night Football games live to iPhone and iPad. You may need to sign in with a cable account to make this work, but we had success watching without signing up.

Fox Sports Go is another must have app on your iPhone and iPad to watch Sunday NFL Games on Fox live. This app requires a cable sign in so you will need to make sure that your subscription is supported. If you don’t have a cable or satellite subscription this will not help you.
