HP Mini 1000 Mi Recovery / Installation Files Now Available for Download

Looking for the HP Mini 1000 Mi image creator / installation files? Head over to HP’s download support site and grab it now! Lot’s of folks who own the Mini 1000 Mi have been looking for these files in order to restore over their existing system. There is a version for installing the recovery tool from a Windows XP machine on to a USB flash drive, as well as a version for installing the image from a Linux machine to a USB flash drive. I had initial problems getting the tool to recognize a flash drive on a Windows XP machine when the drive was assigned to any letter above E:, however, I was finally able to get the image installed when XP recognized the flash drive as E:.

I wouldn’t recommend installing this image on any other system but the HP Mini 1000.
