A leaked screenshot of the Walmart inventory system shows that the 32 GB model of HP’s webOS TouchPad tablet will retail for $599 when it launches. The system also lists other TouchPad accessories, including the tablet-specific inductive charging Touchstone dock for $79.88, a Bluetooth keyboard for $69.88, and a TouchPad case for $49.88.
The TouchPad was initially unveiled by HP at its February Think Beyond event. The device features a 9.7-inch screenb witha 1,024, X 768 resolution and an updated webOS 3.0 operating system. Previous leaks suggest that the tablet may launch in June, but HP has not revealed any pricing or availability information about its tablet.
The tablet also has a wireless tap to share capability to share webpages utilizing the Touchstone mechanism between the tablet and another webOS smartphone.
