HP is releasing the Elite Auto Focus Webcam today. The Elite Auto Focus Webcam offers autofocus at 3 megapixels and up to 12 megapixels with software interpolation giving you a shot at HD quality video from your laptop or Tablet PC. With a 5X digital zoom the video resolutions and frame rates range from 640×480 at 30fps to 1600×1200 up to 5–6fps. It attaches to the top of your screen and supports a number of messaging clients (AIM, Yahoo, Windows Live Messenger, and Skype) and also has a stereo microphone.
