It looks like the pieces that make up the HTC Doubleshot, a dual-core smartphone that is rumored to be coming to T-Mobile, are coming together as another two specifications have seemingly been confirmed.
According to a user agent profile found by Pocketnow, the HTC Doubleshot is going to be coming with some fresh baked Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well as a physical QWERTY keyboard. That little tidbit should instantly propel the Doubleshot onto the wish lists of physical keyboard loves everywhere.
These specifications are, obviously, just a few pieces of the complicated puzzle that is the Doubleshot. Supposedly, it’s going to be coming to T-Mobile at some point in the future and it will sport a 1.2GHz dual-core processor of unknown origins.
It also will apparently have a 6-plusMP camera with HDR abilities along with Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
It’s unclear what the codename Doubleshot means exactly but speculation rests on it either referring to the dual-core processor or dual-cameras meaning the Doubleshot could very well be a 3D device, possibly a European version of the HTC EVO 3D.
