For a limited time, Verizon is going to be offering up its original 4G LTE phone, the HTC ThunderBolt, for the low price of free so-as you sign a new two year agreement with the carrier. That’s a bit of a tall offer considering the 4G LTE phones that Verizon is currently offering and the two that are on the way in the Droid 4 and Droid RAZR MAXX, but it’s certainly a deal that some of you might want to entertain.
Of course, you won’t have too much time to make your decision as Verizon will only be extending the offer to consumers until January 26th. If you recall, January 26th is also the rumored release date for the Droid RAZR MAXX.
The HTC ThunderBolt is Verizon’s original 4G LTE smartphone and while it has had its fair share of problems, the manufacturer and carrier have solved a good majority of them making the T-Bolt, especially with at this price, a nice entry level 4G LTE device.
