HTC Titan Announced: 4.7-Inch Display, Windows Phone Mango, October Release
The HTC Eternity aka HTC Titan has been made official by HTC and it will be headed to Europe at some point in October. No word yet on when the United States will be getting this massive device but those of you who love smartphones will big screens will hope that it it’s soon. Earlier today, we showed you the full spec list for the Titan and there was on thing missing.
Its screen size.
Now that it’s official, we know that its display can be described in one word: Massive. The HTC Titan will sport a gigantic 4.7-inch Super LCD display to go along with a fairly thin frame measured at 130.6 x 70.6 x 9.9mm. That means that it might actually be able to fit in the front pockets of your jeans.
That massive display will be coming along with a single-core 1.5GHz MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, 16GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, 1,600mAh battery, 14.4Mbps HSPA+ 4G, 8MP rear camera, and of course, Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.
So, if you’ve been waiting for a massive Windows Phone Mango device, the Titan is your best bet. A phone that truly lives up to its name.
We like that.

the Titan got me thinking…..SuperLCD? What’s the difference between a ‘regular’ and superLCD. What are the benefits of superLCD over (super)AMOLED?
