According to a report from Commercial Times, HTC will unveil a quad-core tablet at the Mobile World Congress in February and the device will go on sale at some point before the third quarter of 2012. While details are still very murky, the tablet will apparently have NVIDIA’s new Tegra 3 quad-core processor under the hood.
This will be yet another at the tablet market from HTC.
The company has already launched the HTC Flyer, the HTC EVO View 4G, and the HTC Jetstream here in the United States and none of them have been overly successful. It will look to change its fortunes with a quad-core based device.
This is the third device that HTC is rumored to be announcing at next year’s MWC. In addition to the tablet, it will supposedly announce two smartphones, the quad-core powered HTC Edge and the HTC Ville.
