Intel Demos Wireless Battery Charging at IDF

We’re not there yet by any means, but I hope this happens in my lifetime. Intel offered a demonstration of their recent and ongoing work for wireless power technology at IDF. Others are also working on the technology, but Intel is boasting of the highest efficiency yet with its array unit being able to transfer 60 watts over two feet with a 75% efficiency.
