Intel’s Moorestown Platform to Offer 24hr UMPC Battery Life?
We’ve been talking about battery life (or the lack thereof) in Mobile PCs quit a bit lately. Well this is an interesting development on that front. Intel has announced the Moorestown platform that supposedly gives UMPCs up to 24 hours of battery life in normal/mixed use by combing the GPU, CPU, and memory controller into one chip.
Don’t look for this on store shelves any time soon though. We’ve got several other developments to get through first.
