New iOS 10 Emojis

The iOS 10 update adds many new emojis that you can send to other iPhone and iPad users this fall.

Apple worked with the association in charge of emoji to make sure there are new gender options to emoji. This includes female athletes and professionals, many new family options and a new rainbow flag emoji. 

With the iOS 10 update the gun emoji will no longer show up as a metallic gun, but as a plastic squirt gun on devices with iOS 10. 

The new gender diverse iOS 10 emojis are part of the standard emoji pack and users will not need to buy an app to use them. As Google and Android manufacturers add support the new IOS 10 emojis will show up correctly on those devices. 

Expect to see similar Emoji options on macOS Sierra this fall as well.
