The iPhone and iPad currently sync to one computer at a time only. If you switch to a new computer or if you need to plug into another computer to add something while traveling you are out of luck unless you choose to erase the media on your iPhone and replace it with that library. The idea that people only have one computer is outdated and so is the idea that they will only ever want to connect to one computer to add something to the iPhone or iPad. With smaller storage SSD sizes on many laptops it's an even bigger issue. It's time for Apple to allow users to add files to the iPhone or iPad by dragging and dropping or by syncing to iTunes on more than one computer. Even limiting to authorized computers or to family sharing would be a major improvement. | |||||||||
