iOS 6 Jailbreak: Bright Future as Hackers Join Forces
The prospect of a swift iOS 6 jailbreak release improves as hackers team up to work on the new iOS 6 jailbreak, even as some in the scene take an opposing view.
The collaborative efforts to jailbreak the latest version of iOS is reminiscent of the hacker dream team which came together to bring the iPhone 4S jailbreak to users last year.
The most vocal members of the iOS 6 jailbreak dream team are @pod2g and @planetbeing, but they are not alone in their efforts to jailbreak the iPhone 5 and other devices that run iOS 6.
@Planetbeing is optomistic about the future of jailbreaking sending a tweet about the progress on the iOS 6 jailbreak earlier today,
Tons of progress the last few days. I think the future is looking bright for jailbreaking. :)

This comes after @pod2g and planetbeing reported finding new vulnerabilities needed for the jailbreak. The team is still missing the “initial code execution,” which is needed for a public jailbreak release.
In recent public conversations on Twitter, @posixninja and @pimskeks chimed in talking about progress on the jailbreak. Both of these individuals are talented jailbreakers, and their work on the iOS 6 jailbreak is a good sign for users who are eagerly waiting.
yeah @planetbeing looks like we made some #awesomesauce lately :D

In a conversation with @pod2g and @planetbing, @p0sixninja drops a “we” while talking about what the iOS 6 jailbreak team needs before a public release is possible.
@fonfryer @pod2g @planetbeing yea, we’re still missing the initial code sign and on boot code sign

Not everyone is on board with the iOS 6 jailbreak team, as it looks like @i0n1c is trading blows with @pod2g, @planetbieng and @nitoTV over the timing of jailbreak news and requests for sponsors for the upcoming Hack in The Box conference in April.
What a strategy: tell everybody that jb future is looking great and few hours later ask for sponsors to send you to an infosec conference…

The team still needs to find important parts of the iOS 6 jailbreak and test the iOS 6 jailbreak on the iPhone 5, iPads and other devices before a public release.
Stay tuned for the latest iOS 6 jailbreak news and updates.

Excellent. Been missing my jailbreak on the 5. See what can be accomplished through cooperation? Sesame Street still guides us through adulthood.

Woohoo been waiting so long, sold my iPhone 4S to get an iphone 5, it’s been a tough wait but will be well worth it. I feel bad for the impatient ones that jumped ship to android. True iphone fans will wait if they indeed enjoy Apple’s product. To all Android fans, it’s ok to have an average os and cheaply manufactured phone. But the truth is that iPhones are just built better, resell better, operate better, and just look and feel like a work of technological art. Peace out man..
